Job summary

Entergy is seeking a site maintenance operator to support the Sunflower Solar Site, reporting to the regional Team Leader. The role requires daily onsite presence to inspect and maintain solar equipment while ensuring safety, reliability, and cost efficiency across operations.

Qualified candidates will monitor plant systems, troubleshoot equipment, and follow strict environmental and safety procedures. This is a safety‑sensitive position with pre-employment and random drug testing requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Experience in maintenance or operations in power/utility environments.
• Familiar with environmental and safety procedures in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site equipment and perform routine inspections of solar assets (inverters, transformers, modules, trackers).
• Record site activities, visitors, substation work, and battery logs.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform basic part replacement and routine maintenance.
• Maintain site safety and environmental compliance.
