Job summary

AES Corporation, a leader in global energy, seeks a land maintenance worker to support safe solar power plant operations. You will help manage vegetation around solar arrays, operate landscaping equipment, and assist with pond maintenance and PV panel cleaning.

Outdoor, physically demanding work requires a high school diploma or GED, basic English proficiency, and a valid driver’s license. Some travel to nearby sites may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Applicator license credential preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Driver’s license preferred and/or ability to travel to site.
• Outdoor work at solar power plants with variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vegetation control around solar arrays and site infrastructure.
• Operate trimmers/edgers and related equipment.
• Assist with ponds and waterways maintenance.
• Support washing PV panels as needed.
• Collaborate with land maintenance contractors and sheep ranchers.
