Expert Executive Recruiters (EER Global) seeks an Electrical Technician for a utility‑scale solar power facility in the Harrisburg, PA area. The role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems to maximize uptime and generation.

The technician will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document activities in the CMMS, while contributing to safety and daily operations within a proactive O&M team.

Qualifications

• Based in Harrisburg, PA or willing to relocate.
• High School diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of maintenance electrician experience.
• Proficient with hand and power tools, computers/tablets, and digital work order systems.
• Knowledge of NEC, electrical safety, and power plant safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair solar PV electrical equipment (inverters, transformers, switchgear).
• Perform maintenance on trackers, inverters, and balance-of-plant electrical systems.
• Monitor energy output and respond to alarms and abnormal conditions.
• Maintain maintenance records in the CMMS and prepare operation reports.
• Support site safety, contractor oversight, and scheduling activities.
