Green Ridge Solar is seeking a highly organized Permitting Specialist to support our solar project pipeline. You will manage initial permitting steps, act as the AHJ lead, and coordinate permits, net-metering, and incentives for scalable solar installations.

The role emphasizes meticulous process management, strong communication with AHJs, utilities, and internal teams, and quick adaptation to different AHJ requirements. Location: Oregon.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editing software.
• Solid understanding of construction permitting processes and regulations.
• Experience with solar permitting is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to different AHJ requirements.

Responsabilités

• Setting up jobs within our operational pipeline.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
• Obtaining all necessary permits from AHJ & Utilities
• Securing net-metering agreements.
• Reserving available incentives for qualifying systems.
• Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of individual AHJ permitting requirements.
• Coordinating final inspections upon project completion.
• Distributing project closeout and approval notices to all relevant parties.
