SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Regional Permitting Manager – West to lead and execute permitting for utility-scale solar, BESS, HV, and O&M projects in the West region.

Based in San Diego, CA, you will drive preconstruction due diligence through permit closeout, serving as the main liaison with AHJs, consultants, and internal teams. This role requires extensive regulatory knowledge and strong coordination across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in permitting, land use, or project development in utility-scale solar/EPC construction.
• Hands-on experience managing permitting for large-scale solar, BESS, HV projects.
• Deep knowledge of AHJ requirements and regulatory frameworks in the region.
• Experience with federal/state environmental agencies and local building departments.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, electrical, and structural drawings.
• Ability to travel extensively within the region (50%+).

Responsabilités

• Manage full permitting lifecycle for projects in the region from strategy to closeout.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate permit submittals (building, electrical, grading, SWPPP, CUP, fire).
• Maintain permitting records, logs, and status reports for active projects.
• Track permitting timelines and communicate with PMs and internal stakeholders.
• Identify permitting risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with SOLV Engineering to ensure AHJ requirements are met pre-submittal.
• Oversee plan check responses and resubmittals to ensure timely permits.
