Job summary

Moss Solar, the #1 Solar EPC Contractor of 2025, is hiring an Equipment Operator to support our growing solar projects in Florida. We are looking for a Solar PD10 Operator with experience operating heavy equipment and a readiness for physical labor in various weather conditions.

Starting at $24/hr, based on experience, Moss Solar emphasizes safety, teamwork, and career growth in the clean energy industry. Travel to solar projects across New Mexico and Texas may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment (solar or construction experience preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for 8+ hrs a day.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme cold or heat).
• Willingness to travel for solar projects across New Mexico and Texas.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Pre-employment drug test required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate PD-10 Heavy Equipment
• Perform site grading, trenching, and material movement as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Assist with general labor duties, including material handling and site cleanup.
• Maintain clear communication with site leadership and crew members to ensure efficient operations.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
