Job summary

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of heavy equipment experience, can lift 50 lbs, and are able to work outdoors in varied weather. Travel to project sites in NM, TX may be required.

Field Project Address: 1600 158th Avenue Southwest Vero Beach, Florida 32966 Moss Solar, the #1 Solar EPC Contractor of 2025, is hiring Equipment Operators to support our growing solar projects. We are looking for a Solar PD10 Operator.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate PD-10 Heavy Equipment
• Perform site grading, trenching, and material movement as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Assist with general labor duties, including material handling and site cleanup.
• Maintain clear communication with site leadership and crew members to ensure efficient operations.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment (solar or construction experience preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for 8+ hrs a day.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme cold or heat).
• Willingness to travel for solar projects across New Mexico and Texas.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Pre-employment drug test required.
• Other duties as assigned.
