Unknown company in Upington is seeking a Solar Panel Installation Technician to join a renewable energy team. You will install solar panels, mounting hardware, inverters, and wiring on residential and commercial rooftops, under safety standards and designs.

Work as part of a crew to ensure high-quality installations, troubleshoot on-site issues, and participate in training to gain certifications in solar installations. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in solar panel installation or related construction/electrical work is preferred.
• Ability to work safely and effectively at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring principles.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools required for installation.

This role involves the physical installation of solar photovoltaic systems on residential and commercial rooftops. You will work as part of a crew to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality installations, contributing to the growing adoption of clean energy solutions. The ideal candidate is physically fit, comfortable working at heights, possesses basic electrical knowledge, and is eager to learn and grow within the solar industry in the Northern Cape .
