Job summary

SunPower Corporation in Orem, Utah, seeks an analytical Industrial Engineer / Operations Analyst to improve performance and scalability across the solar project lifecycle. You will analyze data from sales through activation, build dashboards, and partner with Operations and Leadership to turn insights into action.

The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years in analytics or industrial engineering, strong Excel, and experience with Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Analytics, or related quantitative field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in operations analytics or industrial engineering.
• Experience with large operational datasets and data visualization tools.
• Strong Excel skills including PivotTables, Power Query, and formulas.
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data across the solar project lifecycle to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
• Track project flow from sales through design, permitting, installation, inspection, and activation.
• Build and maintain dashboards showing pipeline, aging, cycle times, and productivity.
• Develop operational benchmarks and identify performance gaps across teams and regions.
• Design reporting for managers and executives with key issues visible at a glance.
• Automate data collection and recurring reporting to reduce manual work.
