Job summary

Enel North America is seeking an intermediate maintenance technician for renewable energy projects including solar PV and energy storage. You will maintain, test, and troubleshoot AC/DC circuits (34.5kV to 12VDC) and support plant equipment such as motors, switchgear, transformers, inverters, solar panels, BESS, HVAC, and lighting.

The role requires reading schematics, following SOPs, and documenting services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 0-2 years of related maintenance experience, electrical background encouraged.
• Ability to read electrical plan sets and manuals; willingness to learn safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Independently test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair solar or BESS equipment.
• Replace solar PV power plant electrical components with some autonomy.
• Test, maintain, troubleshoot, and replace battery energy storage equipment.
• Perform preventative, reactive and predictive maintenance per Site Manager/Lead Technician.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safe, efficient maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols including electrical safety training and fall protection.
