Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Full Time Technical Worker for a TX, US site. The role focuses on maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV power plants, including SCADA monitoring, testing, and repair of inverters, modules and electrical gear.

Applicants typically have at least 1 year of related experience and a high school diploma; college or technical training is preferred. A strong safety mindset and CMMS proficiency are required, with on-site work and occasional travel expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related position.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA and assist in commissioning, testing, inspecting and repairing PV systems.
• Inspect and repair AC and DC solar PV systems including inverters, PV modules, transformers, switchgear and metering systems.
• Follow operating, switching, maintenance, safety and environmental procedures.
• Ensure CMMS work orders are complete and documentation/reporting is accurate.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and support procurement where needed.
