Job summary

Recurrent Energy is seeking an O&M Field Technician in Tonopah, AZ to maintain and repair equipment at solar facilities. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, perform preventive maintenance, and support plant uptime.

This role requires strong technical skills, safety focus, and the ability to work independently or with a team. NABCEP certification is a plus and a valid driver’s license is required; evenings/weekends shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of hands-on field maintenance experience in electrical or mechanical settings.
• Experience in renewable energy (solar, wind) preferred.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing electrical machinery and equipment.
• NABCEP certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot daily system issues to maintain plant uptime.
• Monitor production targets and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and start-up tests.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment including inverters and switchgear.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Maintain work orders in CMMS and document activities.
