Zeo Energy in Roanoke, VA is hiring an MPU Electrician to upgrade residential electrical systems for solar installations. This hands-on role requires reading blueprints, following NEC codes, and delivering safe, high-quality work on-site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential electrical experience, including service upgrades.
• NEC codes familiarity related to solar, battery storage, and service panels.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient with hand and power tools plus specialized electrical equipment.
• Valid state electrician license/journeyman preferred but not required.
• Residential solar experience preferred with PV equipment knowledge.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work independently or in teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform Main Panel Upgrades (MPUs) and other service changes.
• Install, maintain and repair residential electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints/diagrams to determine layouts.
• Troubleshoot issues using testing devices.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to meet project requirements.
• Maintain safe, organized work sites and complete documentation.
