Zeo Energy is seeking a skilled MPU Electrician to join our residential solar construction teams. This hands-on role upgrades residential electrical systems to support solar energy installations—safely, efficiently, and with pay that rewards skill.

We offer piece-rate pay per job; top performers typically out-earn traditional hourly electricians. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in residential electrical work, NEC knowledge, and PV experience. Valid license preferred, driving required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential electrical experience including service upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes related to solar, storage, and panels.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in electrical work.
• Familiarity with PV equipment and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform Main Panel Upgrades (MPUs) or other residential service changes to support solar energy systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints/diagrams for electrical layouts.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Collaborate with construction teams to meet project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Complete project documentation, including photos and labels, and communicate with crew and customers.
