Job summary

UL Solutions will install a solar monitoring system (SMS) in Uva, Platte County, WY on behalf of one of our Clients. The system monitors solar data as well as meteorological parameters; weekly maintenance is required for up to 2 years.

Your duties include maintaining equipment, troubleshooting with support, ensuring site cleanliness, and submitting documentation via logs and photos. Training is provided remotely; a valid driver's license and reliable transport are needed.

Qualifications

• Prior solar industry experience is preferred; training provided remotely with onsite training as circumstances permit.
• Ability to receive and implement technical instruction remotely during the contract term.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the remote SMS location; 4WD/AWD preferred.
• Physical ability to walk up to a quarter mile and work safely from ladders.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highest level of field communication as the first contact for equipment.
• Ensure equipment is level and clean on a weekly basis.
• Troubleshoot with UL Solutions support and perform repairs for low-to-medium complexity issues.
• Prevent debris from obstructing the system; assist with site maintenance as needed.
• Verify system security and check for tampering; complete weekly logs and documentation.
