Job summary

UL Solutions will install and maintain a solar monitoring system near Cheyenne, WY, with weekly visits of 45–90 minutes and 2–4 hours total time per week. No solar experience is required; training is provided remotely and on-site when possible.

Qualifications

• Must be able to take instruction remotely for the contract term.
• Access to transportation to travel to the SMS site.
• Willing/able to walk up to 1/4 mile to site and work outdoors.
• Own or access to weedwhacker for occasional grass cutting; compensation provided.
• Climb a 6–8 ft ladder and use basic hand tools; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Uphold highest level of communication as first point of contact for equipment in field.
• Ensure equipment is level and clean on a weekly basis.
• Provide troubleshooting and, when requested, repair for low-to-medium complexity issues.
• Ensure no debris obstructs the system; perform grass cutting or brush clearing as needed.
• Confirm the system is secure and hasn’t been tampered with; maintain weekly Excel logbook.
