Job summary

AWS Truepower is looking for a Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal performance of a solar monitoring system in Sullivan County, NY. This contract position requires weekly site visits for up to 2 years, involving equipment checks, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Qualified candidates will receive remote training and must have reliable transportation, with tasks including maintaining clean and leveled equipment and ensuring site security. Strong computer skills for documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• No solar experience required, training provided remotely.
• Must be able to take remote instructions throughout the contract.
• Own transportation to SMS location required (4WD/AWD preferred).
• Able to walk 1/4 mile and climb 6-8 foot ladders.
• Demonstrate computer literacy for uploading maintenance logs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain solar monitoring system weekly for data accuracy.
• Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed.
• Keep the system area free of debris and verify security.
• Complete and upload weekly maintenance documentation.
