Job summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. in Eaton, Ohio, and Camden, Ohio, seeks a Solar Mechanical Superintendent to lead racking and module installation on large-scale solar sites. Travel to project locations across several states is required; per-diem may be available for eligible candidates.

You will supervise project teams, coordinate with the project manager and trades, ensure safety, schedule and budget adherence, and maintain client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or engineering degree in a related discipline.
• NCSO designation required (IND); enrollment in the Gold Seal program preferred.
• 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of the safety program on site and integrate it into plans.
• Supervise, direct, coach, train, and mentor the project team.
• Communicate effectively with trades and ensure performance, productivity, quality and safety.
• Collaborate with project manager to manage schedule, issues and constraints.
• Liaise with client, subcontractors, unions and site/office representatives.
• Develop and maintain project schedule and three-week lookahead plans.
• Control budget, quality and contract compliance.
