Job summary

CoVolt Power is a field-based engineering, procurement, and construction contractor delivering solar, BESS, and high-voltage infrastructure across North America. This hands-on role supports the mechanical scope on solar field construction, leading crews and aligning activities with the project schedule.

You will supervise mechanical installations, enforce safety standards, and coordinate equipment and materials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years in the solar or related construction industry.
• Ability to coach, train, and mentor others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel to different jobsites on short notice.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Experience with Procore and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate clock in/out for assigned team members.
• Submit daily Foreman Daily Reports to the Superintendent.
• Oversee multiple mechanical construction activities (e.g., string line, tracker shakeout, installation).
• Coordinate equipment needs and ensure operators are qualified.
• Ensure quality control and production tracking across crews.
• Lead safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety on site.
• Read and interpret project specifications and drawings.
• Lead and coach team members to meet project schedule and quality standards.
