Job summary

Kipp & Zonen, a Veralto company, seeks an Electrical Engineer in Austin to own hardware development from concept to production. You will design mixed-signal hardware, collaborate with firmware for bring-up, and support products through the full lifecycle in a collaborative, on-site role.

The role emphasizes hands-on ownership of design, testing in lab environments, and partnership with production and quality teams to ensure robust, field-ready instruments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field with strong applied electrical engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on electrical engineering or product hardware experience.
• Experience taking hardware from prototype through validation and into production or field support.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve mixed-signal and embedded electronic hardware, including schematic capture, PCB design, and layout review.
• Collaborate with firmware engineers to design, validate, and bring up devices, troubleshoot system-level issues, and support reliable product performance.
• Contribute across the full product lifecycle, from ideation and prototypes to productization, manufacturing readiness, release, and sustainment.
