Job summary
ACT Power Services seeks an entry-level Solar Maintenance Technician in Green River, UT to perform safe, productive repairs and maintenance on Commercial and Utility Scale Solar PV plants. You will engage in preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to maximize production and ensure reliability.
Responsibilities include maintenance of modules, strings, trackers, and inverters, while learning NEC code and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency using power tools for repair tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite.
Responsibilities
- Uphold safety standards in all tasks.
- Perform preventive maintenance, service, troubleshooting and repair of solar facilities.
- Learn NEC code, electrical theory, and industry best practices.
- Conduct DC/AC testing and I-V curve tracing.
- Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and connections.
- Maintain maintenance schedules and repair records.
- Provide training for technicians as needed.
- Identify hazards and mitigate risks.
