Power Electronics is seeking a Field Service Technician for on-site work in Fort Stockton, TX. The role involves commissioning solar inverters, diagnosing and repairing inverters in the field, and providing comprehensive field reports.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical skills, experience with solar equipment, and the ability to travel to customer sites. A strong safety mindset and commitment to continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical aptitude and hands-on skills for heavy electrical equipment.
• Able to diagnose faults and perform field repairs on inverters and related components.
• Comfortable with documenting work and following safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Start-up and commissioning of solar inverters at customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair faulted inverters in the field, replacing components as needed.
• Submit daily field reports detailing time and work completed on site.
• Manage inventory parts issued for field work and protect company property.
• Update software/hardware in installed systems and participate in warranty-related service tickets.
• Travel as required by operations and adhere to Safety and Training policies.
