Job summary

Power Electronics is seeking commissioning experts (technicians & engineers) to join our field team and support solar and battery inverter projects worldwide. You will perform start‑ups, troubleshoot faults on inverters, and repair field components, while maintaining thorough on‑site reports and ensuring safety standards.

Ideal candidates possess strong electrical aptitude, hands‑on skills, and a customer‑oriented approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience with commissioning heavy electrical equipment.
• Strong electrical aptitude and hands-on skills.
• Customer-focused problem solving and adaptability in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start-up and commissioning of solar inverters at customer plants.
• Diagnose and repair faulted inverters on field; perform component replacements as needed.
• Complete daily field reports detailing time and work performed on site.
• Responsible for inventory of technician parts issued for field work.
• Maintain company property including vehicle, tools, electronics and PPE.
• Update software and hardware as required to keep systems current.
• Attend warranty claim service tickets and follow safety procedures.
• Travel as required by operations and schedule.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
