Job summary

Scalo Solar Solutions is seeking a dedicated Solar Installer to join the growing team. You will install solar PV systems on residential and commercial properties, requiring knowledge of electrical systems, safety protocols, and collaborative work with team members.

Qualifications

Experience in solar installation or related fields preferred (explicit in job listing).
Familiarity with reading blueprints and electrical codes.
Strong skills with power tools and fixture installation.
Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and ground structures.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and installation requirements.
Use power tools and hand tools for fixture installation and system assembly.
Ensure installations comply with NEC and local regulations.
Conduct routine maintenance checks for optimum performance.
Work safely around high voltage systems.
Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues in solar installs.
Collaborate with electricians on complex low/high voltage projects.
Keep tools and work area organized and clean.
