Job summary

Solara Home Energy is hiring for Installer II to support our Residential Installation team in Escondido, CA. You will install PV systems on single-family and multi-family homes and work closely with a team to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, at least 2 years of hands-on solar installation experience, valid driver's license with acceptable MVR, ability to pass background checks, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of hands‑on solar installation experience.
• Experience with residential roofing and electrical components preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet MVR requirements.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation to report to assigned job sites.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Install attachments, racking systems, micro-inverters, optimizers, inverters, rough electrical, finish electrical equipment on 1-3 story new construction buildings.
• Complete wiring and electrical connections between solar panels, inverters, and electrical panels.
• Perform layout measurements and ensure panels are properly aligned and secured.
• Seal and weatherproof roof penetrations to maintain roof integrity.
• Install conduit, disconnects, and other safety equipment per electrical codes.
• Maintain professional conduct and quality installation.
• Complete and adhere to all safety training and protocol.
