Job summary

Solara Home Energy is hiring for an Installer II to support our Residential Installation team in Escondido, CA. The role focuses on installing solar components in single and multi-family homes and requires driving a company vehicle per MVR requirements.

You will perform wiring, layout, and roof penetrations, while adhering to safety protocols and electrical codes. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of hands‑on solar installation experience.
• Residential new construction and/or retrofit solar installations experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet MVR requirements.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Install attachments, racking, micro-inverters, optimizers, inverters, rough electrical, and finish electrical equipment on 1-3 story buildings.
• Complete wiring between solar panels, inverters, and electrical panels.
• Perform layout measurements and ensure panels are aligned and secured.
• Seal and weatherproof roof penetrations to maintain roof integrity.
• Install conduit, disconnects, and safety equipment per electrical codes.
• Maintain professional conduct and safety training and protocol.
