Solar Lights and More in Ocala, FL is seeking a Solar Technician to install, inspect, and maintain solar systems for residential and commercial clients. The role focuses on hands-on solar work, diagnostics, and customer-facing guidance in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Ideal candidates bring solar installation experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift heavy loads. The position runs Monday–Friday with some Saturday scheduling during severe weather, from early morning hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in solar installation or related trade.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
• Must provide own general tools (drill, saw, tape measure, etc.).
• Capable of lifting 65 lbs+ and passing background and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain residential and commercial solar panel systems.
• Perform system diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Conduct site assessments and prepare rooftops or ground mounts for solar installation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide basic system operation guidance.
