Job summary

IGS Energy is seeking a Solar Installation Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential solar systems while upholding safety and quality workmanship.

You will install PV systems per design specifications, collaborate with electricians, project managers, roof lead, and foreman, perform solo maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and document system specs for each project.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of solar installation experience (residential or commercial).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights on rooftops or ladders.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

  • Solar Installation: Install photovoltaic (PV) systems according to design specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and company standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including electricians, project managers, roof lead, and foreman to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system malfunctions, ensuring optimal system performance.

Salary Range:

$44,970.00 - $71,950.00

*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.

This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
