Venture Home in Stamford, Connecticut is seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to join our inside sales team. You’ll work directly with senior leadership to educate homeowners across the Northeast about solar energy and home electrification, and schedule meetings with our sales team.

This full-time internship offers hands-on learning in solar energy, inside sales, and customer outreach in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where initiative is rewarded and growth opportunities

Responsibilities

• Reach out to prospective customers by phone, email, and other approved channels.
• Help homeowners understand solar energy and home electrification, answer introductory questions, and connect them with resources.
• Learn customer needs to identify opportunities for conversation with the sales team.
• Schedule qualified appointments and follow up to keep customers informed.
• Work closely with senior leadership and operations to coordinate outreach and handoff to sales.
• Keep accurate records of conversations, appointments, and follow-ups.
• Participate in training to strengthen communication, customer service, and sales skills.
• Work toward outreach and appointment-setting goals.
