Job summary

Venture Home Solar, LLC in Stamford, CT is seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to join our inside sales team. This full-time, in-person role runs 9 AM–5 PM, Monday to Friday, with a starting date in October 2026 and compensation of $18/hour plus commission.

You will educate homeowners across the Northeast about solar energy, schedule meetings for the sales team, and gain hands-on experience working with senior leadership in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to prospective customers by phone, email, and other approved communication channels.
• Help homeowners understand solar energy and home electrification, answer introductory questions, and connect them with the right resources.
• Learn about customers’ needs and interests to identify opportunities for a conversation with our sales team.
• Schedule qualified appointments and follow up to keep customers informed and engaged.
• Work closely with senior leadership and operations to coordinate customer outreach and support a smooth handoff to sales.
• Keep accurate records of customer conversations, appointments, and follow-up activities.
• Participate in training and coaching to strengthen your communication, customer service, and sales skills.
• Work toward individual and team outreach and appointment-setting goals.
