Aerotek is seeking a Solar General Foreman/Construction Manager for utility-scale solar projects. This role involves overseeing subcontractors nationwide to ensure safe, on-time installations of solar tracker systems and providing leadership on-site.

Employment Type: Long-term contract-to-hire
Salary: $90-100K + daily per diem
Travel Perks: 100% of All flights, hotels, and rental truck are prepaid; in addition to a daily food per diem of $80 for up to 7 days a week
Join a leading solar tracking manufacturer and installation firm as a Solar Construction Manager, where you'll serve as a subject matter expert overseeing and/or instructing subcontracting construction companies in the installation of large-scale solar tracker systems across the country. This is a high-impact role for professionals with hands-on experience in utility-scale solar construction and a passion for delivering quality and safety.
Lead and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring timely and high-quality installations of solar tracking systems.
Collaborate with subcontractors, electricians, and labor crews to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and maintain safety compliance.
Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to support installation workflows.
Conduct and document safety meetings in alignment with OSHA standards.
Support project planning including material takeoffs, sequencing, and subcontractor scope reviews.
Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment and transparency.
Provide technical guidance on electrical and mechanical components to field teams.
4+ years of experience in utility-scale solar construction, with 2+ years in a leadership role (General Foreman, Superintendent, Construction Manager, Owner Rep, or QC Manager).
Strong understanding of solar tracker systems - hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction reporting tools.
Excellent problem-solving and construction math skills.
Proven leadership and client relationship management.
Willingness to travel nationwide up to 100% of the time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
