Job summary

Capitol Valley Electric, Inc. is seeking a Solar Foreman to motivate, drive, and manage our team on large PV and battery storage projects in California. You will coordinate field operations, ensure safety, and maintain project schedules and budgets.

The role requires 3–5 years supervising electrical subcontractors and 5–8 years in commercial solar. Travel will be necessary; a CA electrician license is preferred. Competitive pay up to $65/hr plus prevailing wage opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience supervising electrical subcontractors.
• 5-8 years in commercial solar electrical work.
• Experience managing budgets, hours, and crews.
• CA General Electrician license preferred.
• Willing to travel; OSHA 30; able to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractor crews and material logistics for large PV systems.
• Lead solar PV construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate inspections for solar/PV and electrical work.
• Interpret specifications and read blueprints.
• Plan daily activities to meet schedule and budget.
• Order materials and manage delivery.
• Complete project reports: daily, safety, inspections.
• Audit safety practices and PPE usage.
• Support superintendents with training and performance feedback.
