Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Field Support Specialist to provide advanced corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across multiple solar facilities. This full-time role is a regional technical resource traveling frequently across the Eastern region and working on-site at job sites.

You will perform detailed electrical testing and repair of LV/MV systems, coordinate with project teams, document actions, and support safety programs while maintaining high quality technical records and

Qualifications

Minimum three years of experience in utility-scale solar or related electrical power industry.
Strong corrective maintenance and troubleshooting background.
Valid OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred) and NFPA 70E Safety Training certification required

Responsibilities

Perform advanced troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, testing, and repair of solar equipment and systems with minimal supervision
Serve as a regional technical resource for corrective maintenance activities and escalated troubleshooting across multiple sites
Travel extensively (approximately 75 percent) to support maintenance across the assigned region
Coordinate with site personnel, Field Service Leads, OCC, and Project Management Teams during corrective maintenance
Maintain detailed work orders, corrective action reports, and technical summaries
