New Jersey Resources Corp. is seeking a Solar Field Technician in a performance operations role. You will coordinate maintenance and repairs for commercial solar facilities, provide cost-based repair recommendations, and report outages.

The position also supports project managers on capital projects with site commissioning and inspections. You will liaison with landowners, utility companies, and vendors, ensuring equipment operation and OEM warranty adherence.

Qualificações

• Associate or technical degree in electrical, renewable energy, engineering technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in solar operations, electrical maintenance, project management, field service, or related technical operations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment, prioritize issues, and escalate safety or reliability concerns.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for assigned commercial solar facilities.
• Provide repair recommendations based on costs and potential lost revenue; report outages.
• Support project managers on capital projects with site commissioning and quality inspections.
• Serve as primary contact for site landowners, utility companies and vendors.
• Operate and understand all installed equipment and ensure OEM warranty compliance.
• Maintain site data, warranties, manuals, and repair history.
