Deriva Energy is seeking a Lead Technician to supervise crews across multiple solar sites in Rogerson, ID and surrounding areas. The role involves coordinating maintenance, training staff, and directing field operations for sub-station equipment.

Applicants should have a strong background in electrical construction and maintenance, with hands-on experience and the ability to travel to all Deriva fleet projects. The position offers full-time stability and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School/GED and 6+ years of related work experience.
• Internal Candidates: 2+ years of technical experience with Deriva Energy as a Solar Technician.

Responsabilités

• Lead crews of technicians to complete required duties.
• Interact directly with the customer as directed by the manager.
• Train and mentor employees as directed by the manager.
• Oversee and perform operations, planned and unplanned maintenance on sub-station equipment.
• Perform pad mounted transformer switching in accordance with energy isolation procedures.
• Troubleshoot and communicate warranty issues to OEMs.
• Oversee daily work activities including reporting needs.
• Diagnose and resolve faults on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Oversee small or large corrective tasks on a solar facility.
• Work as scheduled during the week and on call as needed.
• Assist in mobilizing crews to complete work.
• Act as backup to the active manager when requested.
• Support teammates in solving technical problems.
• Complete paperwork (work orders, timesheets, tool and PPE inventory).
