Job summary

Sunrun Installation Services Inc. seeks a Hybrid Field Technician to perform site assessments, inspections, and field work across residential solar projects. You will collect measurements, photos, and system data to ensure designs meet standards and AHJ requirements while maintaining a strong safety focus.

The role involves climbing roofs, using ladders, and working outdoors with dynamic schedules across multiple sites. A high school diploma and PV/field experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of field construction experience preferred.
• PV design/installation experience or reading plans is helpful.
• Comfort with roofs, ladders and elevated spaces.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to collect measurements and data for solar design.
• Assess roof conditions and electrical service panels to verify readiness.
• Submit survey data using mobile field tools and reports.
• Perform post-install inspections and ensure code compliance.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve inspection issues and schedule AHJ visits.
