Job summary

Sunrun is hiring a Hybrid Field Technician to support residential solar installation through site assessments, inspections, and field work. You will gather measurements, photos, and data to ensure designs meet standards and local codes.

The role requires climbing ladders, roof access, and travel across multiple job sites with intraday scheduling. Expect hands-on work, problem-solving, and customer interaction daily.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints or plans and basic electrical theory knowledge.
• Minimum one year of field construction experience preferred.
• Comfortable working on roofs and ladders; safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photos, and data for solar design.
• Assess roof conditions, electrical service panels, and property features.
• Climb ladders and inspect rooftops as required.
• Submit survey data via mobile field tools in a timely manner.
• Perform post-install inspections and verify readiness for AHJ or utility approval.
• Coordinate with install teams to resolve inspection issues and schedule inspections.
