Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) for a permanent, full-time site-based position at a designated location. Relocation to the site is required, and relocation expenses are not provided.

The role focuses on safe work practices, field maintenance, and servicing solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision. Applicants must meet minimum education and safety training requirements and be prepared for varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment through training or experience.
• Demonstrated basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority and must be followed at all times.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of solar equipment.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
