Job summary

Renewable Energy Systems Ltd is seeking a Field Service Technician II to assist seniors and lead junior technicians in operating and maintaining utility-scale solar facilities. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance of panels, trackers, and inverters on-site.

The position requires 3+ years in electrical maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel 5-15%. OSHA credentials are preferred, and safety is emphasized through LOTO and on-site procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related electrical maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to reside within 60 miles of the work site and travel 5-15% of the time.
• Associate’s degree in technical field preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• Knowledge of high, medium, and low voltage electrical power systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior Field Service Technicians and lead junior technicians.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on solar assets (panels, trackers, inverters).
• Troubleshoot HV DC and LV AC power systems.
• Interface with owners, equipment manufacturers, and subcontractors.
• Adhere to safety plans, LOTO procedures, and site policies.
• Respond to on-site emergencies within 1.5 hours as prioritized.
