Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 2) to perform field maintenance and troubleshooting on solar facilities. This full-time, on-site role is based at a jobsite in Kermit, TX, with responsibilities including safety-first operations, testing, diagnostics, and documentation of work performed.

The position requires experience with PV systems, field servicing, and the ability to work independently or with a team under challenging weather conditions.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; Vocational/technical training a plus.
Ability to recognize work hazards and mitigate using proper tools and procedures.
Identify energized/de-energized parts and safely de-energize sources before work.

Responsibilities

Perform field maintenance and troubleshooting on solar facilities with minimal supervision.
Conduct testing, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems on solar equipment.
Create accurate work tickets and document time/materials in the Sprocket system.
Travel up to 10% for training, certifications and site coverage.
