Job summary

RES is hiring a Field Support Technician – Solar to perform essential maintenance and support at utility-scale solar facilities. You will work with a small site team on vegetation control, inventory, and custodial tasks, while assisting PV Technicians with troubleshooting and component replacements.

Flexibility for various duties and adherence to safety are required. The role involves fieldwork in varying conditions, will utilize CMMS and spreadsheets for tracking, and requires strong teamwork

Qualifications

• High school/GED general education required.
• 1 year experience in a related maintenance position required.
• Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and vegetation control duties for utility-scale solar facilities.
• Supports field technicians and managers with maintenance, inventory, and custodial tasks.
• Uses a CMMS and spreadsheets for maintenance tracking and completes daily paperwork.
