Job summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. is seeking Solar Field Engineering Interns for project sites across Ohio, Washington, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas and more. Interns must be available to work full time from May to August 2027.

You will gain hands-on experience in project execution, coordination, and problem-solving at active construction sites. We offer competitive pay ranging from $18 to $24 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a 100% employee-owned

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a degree relevant to construction.
• Desire to pursue Solar/Renewable Energy and construction project management, field supervision, or estimating.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assists Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents.
• Conducts safety audits and quality audits.
• Reads and understands drawings and specifications.
• Logs submittals and process RFIs.
• Assists with surveying and project layout.
• Maintains and updates field drawings, field equipment and records.
• Assists with coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field staff.
• Attends relevant project meetings.
• Prepares memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other forms and documents.
• Assists with project documentation requirements.
• Assists with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
