Job summary

Sheakley is seeking an Electrical QA/QC Coordinator for a utility-scale solar farm project in Coldwater, MI. The contractor role oversees QA/QC processes for electrical construction, ensuring installations meet drawings, specs, and submittals while supporting turnover and closeout.

Key tasks include managing QA/QC docs, coordinating with field teams, and ensuring high-quality workmanship, with a 4x10 schedule, 1st shift, and 1099 contractor terms. Weekly pay and per diem are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years electrical construction or QA/QC experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, specs and installation details.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Proficiency with Procore.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Track and maintain electrical QA/QC documentation.
• Verify installation completion against drawings, specs, and submittals.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, turnover packages, and quality reports.
• Review redline drawings and assist with as-built documentation.
• Organize manufacturer installation manuals, cut sheets, test reports, and project records.
• Coordinate with field teams to verify installation quality and compliance requirements.
• Assist with punch list development, tracking, and closeout activities.
• Support quality inspections and verification processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain documentation for project turnover and client acceptance.
• Ensure project quality requirements are consistently met and documented.
• Coordinate with project management, supervision, and construction teams.
• Promote quality workmanship and compliance in all electrical installations.
