Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Lennon MI is seeking a Solar Technician to assist in operating and maintaining the Assembly Energy Center, a 240 MW‑AC solar facility. You will perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshoot inverter/tracker faults, and support vegetation management.

Schedule is 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday with potential overtime and occasional nights; travel up to 30% may be required. Safety‑sensitive position with drug testing.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of technical experience (electrical) or relevant technical education.
• Willing to travel up to 30% of time and work nights during maintenance periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on site solar, substation, and related equipment.
• Conduct vegetation management and operate large equipment per the plan.
• Troubleshoot inverter, tracker, network, and substation faults; diagnose site performance issues.
