Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks a Project Engineer to manage the project lifecycle from pre-construction to closeout. You will coordinate with home-office engineers and third-party firms, ensuring designs meet reliability, quality, cost efficiency, and safety standards on industrial sites.

The role requires leading Field Engineers, supporting safety, quality assurance, and project controls such as scheduling and budgeting. Mobility to project sites for 6–15 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in renewables; solar experience is a plus.
• Experience as a PE in an EPC firm is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to project site for 6-15 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure safe, cost-effective designs.
• Lead and mentor Field Engineers; support scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
• Support safety and quality programs across project design and construction.
• Manage RFIs, document control, and as-built records.
• Provide project controls input: budgeting, scheduling, and cash flow reporting.
