Job summary

LiveWire Construction, Inc. is seeking a mid-level EPC Operations Specialist focused on estimating and pre-construction for civil/mechanical scopes. You will drive bid packages, evaluate subcontractor bids, and ensure scope alignment with RFP requirements in a fast-paced solar project environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in preconstruction or estimating, renewables experience, and strong Excel/PlanSwift/Bluebeam skills. The role supports project turnover and site mobilization planning.

Qualifications

• Interpret solar EPC RFPs and bid documents to identify required civil and mechanical scope.
• Prepare scope-of-work documents and bid packages for civil/mechanical subcontractors and solicit bids.
• Consolidate civil/mechanical scope and pricing with electrical/engineering/procurement estimates into the total EPC bid.
• Maintain familiarity with compliance requirements tied to civil/mechanical work (SWPPP, permits) and implement value engineering where appropriate.
• Support transition of awarded projects from bid to turnover to PM and field teams; assist with site mobilization planning.

Responsibilities

• Interpret solar EPC RFPs and project bid documents to identify required civil and mechanical scope, and review civil and structural drawings for constructability.
• Prepare scope-of-work documents and bid packages for civil/mechanical subcontractors, solicit bids, and manage vendor relationships.
• Consolidate civil/mechanical scope and pricing with other estimates into the total EPC bid.
• Maintain familiarity with compliance requirements tied to civil/mechanical work and implement value engineering.
• Support transition of awarded projects from bid through turnover and assist with site mobilization requirements.
