BUILD Renewables is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead the bidding and budgeting for nationwide utility-scale solar and storage projects. You will coordinate with Preconstruction and Operations to assemble detailed self-perform estimates for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes, ensuring bid quality and margin targets.

The role demands 8+ years of construction and 5+ years in estimating, with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of construction experience, with a minimum of five (5) years of estimating experience and two (2) years in a leadership role.
• Five (5) years of renewable energy industry experience, including estimating techniques and cost control.
• Two (2) years of onsite construction execution experience is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Outlook, and related software.

Responsabilités

• Track and compare actual costs to bid pricing to build cost history.
• Assign estimating team responsibilities across projects.
• Communicate with site teams on work methods, production needs, and data.
• Develop standardized estimating procedures and ensure consistency.
• Lead crew sizing, resources, and productivity planning.
• Train and mentor estimating staff and review outputs.
