Job summary

Venture Home Group in Portland, OR is seeking a Solar Sales Consultant to join our in-home sales team. This is not a door-knock role; we prioritize closers with a proven track record and a reliable vehicle and license are required.

You'll work with our appointment-setting colleagues to meet homeowners, educate them on solar options and incentives, and close deals with the right combination of products and service. Growth opportunities are available in a fast-moving, award-winning solar company.

Qualifications

• Sales experience is required.
• Outside in-home sales experience is preferred.
• Solar industry experience is welcomed.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new products.

Responsibilities

• Meet homeowners to present solar options and close deals.
• Collaborate with appointment setters to schedule visits and follow up with clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, incentives and financing options.

About the Role

A Solar Sales Consultant is NOT a lead generation role where you will be asked to knock on doors or cold call. We are seeking experienced sales representatives that are closers with a track record of success in sales and are looking for the right environment to be successful. A RELIABLE VEHICLE AND A LICENSE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION.

Our appointment setting teams will schedule qualified appointments on your calendar for you to meet with the homeowner(s) and close with the best combination of products, services, and track record in the industry.

We view the sales process in solar to be educational and we realize that it is an emotional decision for people to make the switch, so we focus on making sure that our customers understand not just how solar works, but also where the money is coming from to help pay for their project so that it doesn't seem 'too good to be true'.
