Job summary

Colite Technologies is seeking an experienced electrician to support the rapid growth of our renewable solutions business. This role involves installing electrical equipment for commercial rooftop solar systems across the southeastern United States, with frequent travel and weekday work.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Test voltages from 10V–1000V DC / 120V–480V AC.
• Understand NEC Requirements; Solar PV Art. 690; Interconnected Power Production Art. 705.
• Frequent travel across southeastern states.
• OSHA10 or greater; Lockout Tagout procedures; NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment, cables and panels; bend, size and install conduit; pull and terminate wire; install distribution panels and disconnects for rooftop solar installs.
• Tie in solar systems to utility interconnection.
• Ensure projects pass state and local jurisdictional requirements.
• Review BOM at loading dock to stock crew trucks for projects.
• Act as primary site contact representing Colite Technologies to customers, authorities and host utilities.
• Direct daily activities of crew and oversee quality of work; drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and train crew members and delegate tasks when the crew lead is absent.

Education

Journeyman electrical license

Master Electrician license preferred

High School diploma or equivalent

NABCEP certification a plus
