Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of solar installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and ability to translate code references.
• Proficient with solar inverters (Enphase, SMA, QCELL, Tesla, SolarEdge).
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and basic electrical principles.
• Familiarity with solar mounting systems, racking, and related components.
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
• Good problem-solving skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to travel overnight within the state when necessary.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of electrical systems.
• Mount and secure solar electrical systems, inverters, and equipment per project specs.
• Install and connect wiring, conduit, and disconnect switches per electrical codes.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs for optimal performance.
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections to verify installation integrity and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Document installation details, equipment specs, and follow-up needs.
• Willing to crawl into tight spaces, attics, and perform install/wiring duties as required.
• Perform wiring from the roof to the service entrance.
